Panspermia

The panspermia (from Greek παν-pan, everything and σπερμα sperma, seed) is a hypothesis that proposes that life can originate in any part of the universe, and not proceed directly or exclusively from the Earth, which probably life in the Earth comes from the outside and that the first living beings would have arrived in meteorites or comets from space to Earth.

Panspermia is a journey towards discovery. An accumulation of complex stories, of bland ironies, of cries to heaven to a god with deaf ears, of problematic relationships. An ode to the most fucking part of the Human Being, to those shady and impossible places to investigate with the light on, to those gloomy ideas that assail us when we rest our heads on the pillow and sleep does not exist. That seed with which everything begins. A graphic journey that starts from ignorance and absolute ingenuity and achieves photo by photo the reason for everything. Like a nightmare where we discover fears before nonexistent for us, that seem introduced by something or someone. A representation of the human restlessness to discover the reason of those fears and how they got there.

Two musical works of the British rock band Muse had an absolute relevance as a source of conceptual inspiration for the Panspermia project: Origin of Simmetry and The Resistance.

Of origin of Simmetry the song that most influences this work is its seventh piece: Micro Cuts. It is about hallucinations that its composer Matt Bellamy had on triangular blades that cut the back of his head. A figuration that he justifies that there is information that is infiltrating your brain. Baroque and poetic representation about psychological warfare and the way in which the government could be controlling us through some type of radiation that sends impulses to our brains. So "micro cuts" are cuts in your being that you can not see or avoid. From this piece what is caught is that sensation of nightmare, of uncontrollable fears and manipulation. A seed planted in our brain that we do not know where it comes from and as individuals we should act to discover it.

The Resistance has the mission, perfectly fulfilled, to move you to an isolated space, where you can hardly glimpse any future or company. From this album what most influences the photographs is the final symphony: Exogenesis. This spirit of search, concern and attempt to solve a serious problem for the individual or group of individuals is taken from this disc. The emerged of our mind in the nightmare suffered with Micro Cuts.
